Scheduling for shops and retail

A shop week is an opening shift, a closing shift, a Saturday that needs everyone, and a December that needs people you have not hired yet.

Free during testing · $49 a month flat when billing opens

Weeksolved drafts a week for sales associates, shift leads, cashiers and stockroom staff from the rules you set, checks it against your state's meal and rest break rules as you draft, and flags the rule that stopped each person when a shift cannot be filled. It costs one flat price for the location, and your staff never need an account.

Open, close, and the bit in the middle

Weeksolved drafts around the shape a shop actually runs: somebody opening before the door does, somebody closing after it, and the cover in between set by how busy each weekday is rather than by an even split. Tell it which days are heavy and the draft weights them.

A plain flag when you change a posted week

Some cities require extra notice, or pay, when a posted schedule changes on short notice, and whether that applies depends on your size and location — Weeksolved can't tell which rules cover your business. Change a posted week and you'll see a plain reminder that changes after posting can carry notice or pay obligations in some cities and for larger employers, so you know to check before you rely on it.

Seasonal hiring that doesn't change the bill

Take on eight people for the holidays and your price does not move. Per-user pricing punishes exactly the month you need the most people. When the season ends, set them aside rather than deleting them: off every schedule, everything kept, and one press puts them back next year.

Breaks placed properly, from day one

Meals drafted to your state's rule, rest breaks laid around them, and staggering that never leaves the floor uncovered while somebody is on their fifteen. That is true on the free trial too, because the rules that make a week hard to work out are the whole job, not an upgrade.

Nobody is locked out of their own schedule

Part-time retail staff are the group least likely to have installed the app. Weeksolved has one account — the manager's — and everybody else gets the schedule by text, email, print, or a calendar file. Nothing to install, nobody chasing a password reset on a Sunday morning.

The till count and the shutter

Opening and closing lists live on the day sheet, tick by tick, and fall to whoever actually opens and closes that day. When somebody swaps, the list moves with the schedule.

What it will not do

Weeksolved does not forecast staffing from your point-of-sale takings. It schedules to coverage rules you set. If you want the schedule driven by a sales forecast, another tool does that. Weeksolved is scheduling software, not legal advice. It applies the rules you select; you stay in charge of your own compliance, and you should review every schedule before you post it.

What it costs

One flat price per location — $49 a month, or $470 a year — whatever the headcount, at one location or ten. No per-user fees, no paid admin seats, no charge for the manager who covers weekends. Break rules are included, not an upgrade. During testing it is free with an access code.
