Weeksolved started with a week's schedule that was a pile of requests, a grid of constraints, and an evening lost to fitting one into the other.
It started with one small team. It now drafts the week for kitchens and dining rooms, clinics and front desks, salons, shops, warehouses, support desks and security posts — anywhere a week has to be worked out person by person, shift by shift.
Every scheduling tool we tried had the same shape: a pretty empty grid, and good luck. The rules that actually make scheduling hard — licensed coverage that can never lapse, meal breaks that have to land inside a legal window, ratios between roles, the person who can't close Tuesdays, the fairness argument about who gets stuck with Sunday — all of that stayed in the manager's head. The software just held the boxes.
So we built the other tool: one you teach your rules once, and from then on the week drafts itself — breaks placed lawfully, coverage honored, requests worked in, and a plain-language explanation for anything that couldn't be. It never invents a shift you didn't define, and when something won't fit, it tells you why and shows you the ways out with the least disruptive one first.
Staff shouldn't need accounts. Only the manager signs in. Everyone else gets their schedule the way they already live — text, print, email, or straight into their phone's calendar. Nothing to install, nobody to onboard, no per-seat bill creeping up with every hire.
Break rules apply while the schedule is built, not as a report afterward. They differ by state and the penalties are real. Weeksolved applies your state's rules while drafting and flags what it catches as you build the week — always look over the schedule before you post it. It does not calculate the premium pay a missed break can owe; that stays with your payroll process.
Pricing should be flat and boring. One price per location. Hiring your 30th employee costs the same as your 8th. No seats to count, no surprises to audit.
Your data is yours. Private to your account, exportable any time, never sold, never mined for ads. Leaving is allowed to be easy — that's what makes staying a choice.
Weeksolved is built and run by Alberto Pelayo, in California.
It is deliberately small — which means the person reading your message is the person who can fix your problem, usually the same day. Email support@weeksolved.com or use Contact us in the app; every message gets a human reply.
It's the fair thing to ask a company this size, so here is the answer rather than a reassurance. Weeksolved runs in your browser against Google's infrastructure — there is no Weeksolved server sitting between you and your data. Every schedule, every roster and every record exports to a spreadsheet or a PDF from inside the app, at any time, without asking us. If Weeksolved stopped tomorrow you would still have the week you're running, the weeks behind it, and the sheets already printed and on the wall. The business is a California sole proprietorship converting to an LLC before general release on 11 January 2027, and your agreement transfers with it unchanged.
